Therapy Services

 At the heart of our therapeutic work is a person-centred approach, which means therapeutic interventions are led by the needs of the individual.

 

Whether the sessions are held among the Island Learning Centres indoor or outdoor schools, the therapy room or directly on the yard, we aim to support the learner’s emotional awareness and resilience. This will be appropriate to their developmental age.

 

We can offer our learners therapeutic intervention to improve their mental wellbeing by working alongside horses with a specifically designed therapeutic programme.

We can also work with our other animals at the riding centre or you may prefer to watch and observe the animals rather than have direct interaction.   You can also choose to have sessions just in the therapy room. We are flexible in how we deliver our sessions.
